The gesture and the tool

These tools are a new expression for the daily gesture in the kitchen. They derive from an observation work, involving both drawings and videos. Originating from two simple actions of transforming the original ingredient, ie. grinding and slicing, I am offering two tools providing new ways to comprehend these actions. 

These effective tools, simple and durable, amplify the daily gesture in the kitchen as they are thought and designed as a continuity of the natural movement of the hand. They aim to make the gesture and the ingredients transformation time a conscious act fully lived in the present moment.

The object, thanks to its users and the handling it requires, is the link between the matter, us and the others, it becomes a highly connective vector.
